Our team of teaching professionals The teaching faculty of the college is comprised uniquely of seasoned professionals with backgrounds in the fields of architecture and civil engineering. They are rated among the best in their respective fields. Their educational background is paired with a wealth of experience on the job market. In addition, year after year more teachers are returning, promoting better stability of our personnel. Our teachers are aware that coaching is the key to success, and are particularly understanding toward the students.
Employment opportunity The Architectural Techniques Program focuses on training versatile technicians capable of working for architectural firms, engineering firms, construction firms and governmental organizations. Graduates of the program will participate in and possibly complete an architectural project, within the limits of the laws, standards and prescribed codes. Students may also work together with an architect in designing the details for the construction of a building; coordinate architectural drawings with building structure; assist with the preparation of other documents which make up the project, in particular: interpret project specifications, estimate construction costs, coordinate construction projects, determine the condition of a building, ensure that a building is compliant with the law, construction codes and standards. The importance and frequency of tasks will vary depending on the firm and type of work, and previous experience of each individual: employees and self-employed persons. While carrying out his or her duties, the student must research various information’s, cross-reference all project documents to ensure consistency, and regularly call upon his or her colleagues when making decisions: Graduates of MTC are offered employment in various work environments
