Specific conditions for admission
General information for admission Courses are offered in French or in English. Students who wish to pursue their studies at the Montreal Technical College must enrol full time. An Application for Admission must be sent as soon as possible. The college will inform the applicant of its decision promptly. Lastly, students who are accepted will receive a Registration Form to complete.
Deadlines for application The college must receive the application form before July 15th for the fall semester and October 15th for the winter semester. For late applications please contact the college at 514-932-6444 or info@mtccollege.com.
Admission - Documents required The following documents are required when applying and must be included with the application:
Quebec resident status To qualify as a resident of Quebec, the student must provide either of the following as proof (in some cases more than one of these may be required):

Additional information
Recognition of prior learning and competencies A course that you had previously completed at another college seems to be the equivalent of the one offered at Montreal Technical College? What is prior learning and recognition? Provided the individual can demonstrate that his or her prior learning corresponds to the objectives of one or several courses within the training program, he or she may apply for prior learning recognition.
After evaluation of the file, the Director of Education may wish to set up an interview with the individual requesting the prior learning assessment and recognition or request that he or she submit to an exam in order to complete the evaluation of the file.
